For over forty years, the First Christian Church Child Development Center has provided quality child care for the community.  Our curriculum offers a healthy balance of learning and excitement for children from infancy through the primary grades.

Our curriculum offers a healthy balance of learning and excitement for children from infancy through the primary grades.  Our staff follows a sequential skills development program which provides a solid foundation for further advancement.  Through hands-on activities involving all the children’s senses, learning is made fun!

Infant – Toddler Program: provides a nurturing environment, active play, problem solving, verbal skills and assisting with independence.

Preschool Program: has a unique developmental curriculum for each age level from two through four years old.

Two Year Old Program: utilizes a hands-on curriculum to advance social and self-help skills while developing language and thinking abilities.

Three Year Old Program: utilizes game-like activities to allow exploration, fine motor skill development and social adjustment while having fun!

Four Year Old Program: emphasizes preparation for kindergarten with language, art, music, numbers, reading, motor skill development and social adjustment.

Kindergarten & Primary Grade Program: offers a full day instructional schedule with math, reading, science and social skills.  Opportunities in music, art, computer and physical education complete a well-rounded calendar.

Special Programs Offered

The school offers opportunities in: Field trips, crafts, cooking, films, music, and dance during school year and in the Summer enrichment programs.

The Center owned and operated by First Christian Church Pomona. The Center is fully licensed and insured. There are air-conditioned classrooms and two well equipped and shaded playgrounds.
