From June 23 – June 27, 2010, several women from our congregation plan to attend the Quadrennial in Greensboro, North Carolina. This session will be called “Awake, Awake.”

In order for them to be able to afford to attend, we are having several fund raisers. The first is selling handmade Valentine’s Day Cards on the Sundays of Feb. 7 and Feb. 14. Also, on Sunday, Feb. 14, we will be having a bake sale. If you happened to receive your Caller before the 14th, we would appreciate any donations of baked goods to the sale.

Our next BIG fund raising event will be a yard sale on Saturday, March 6th. This is where we really need your help in donating any items you can. There are specific dates when someone will be at the church to receive these items: Feb. 18 & 25th from 11am-2pm. Feb 21 and 28th from 8:30 to 9:45am and also after church till 12:45. We would also appreciate it if you put the prices of the items on them before you donate them, we can provide pricing dots and tape as needed.
