The 140th Anniversary of the founding of First Christian Church of Pomona will be celebrated in worship on Sunday, October 22; a luncheon will follow in the Fellowship Hall! Worship will feature stories from members of the congregation and special music as we give thanks for the gift of the ministry we share. A Peace Pole will also be dedicated during this time; its future home will be the flower bed at the front of the church! The celebration will continue with a delicious lunch after worship, where we will receive greetings from honored guests who represent organization with whom we have been in relationship over many of the last 140 years.
