As a faith community centered around the Table of Christ, we value the place of Christ in our conversations, especially about the difficult matters facing us. The most recent mass killings anger and numb us. What is the way forward? It begins by building relational trust in conversation with other people who share our values of community. These two session will be led by pastors Julie Roberts-Fronk and Mike Fronk. A conversation guide accompanies short articles we will read together. The resource is provided by Christian Century, a bi-monthly publication, committed to thinking critically and living faithfully. Conversations will take place on on Monday, August 12 and Monday, August 19, from 7-8:15 pm at First Christian Church Pomona, Conference Room. Enter through the church office.
