2021-07-07 19:00 2021-07-07 20:00 America/Los_Angeles Coming to the Table Event

Tom DeWolf is going to help us launch our congregation’s next conversation about racial healing on Wednesday, June 16 at 7 pm. The series will continue weekly through July 14. Tom grew up in First Christian Church of Pomona. He is a descendant of one of the largest slave trading families in North America and has devoted his life to the work of racial healing for over 10 years. The Little Book of Racial Healing, written by Tom DeWolf and Jodie Geddes, will be our conversation guide. It presents the goals and practices of Coming to the Table, of which Tom is the Executive Director. This event is planned to be a hybrid of in-person and online attendance. Tom will be joining us virtually. In-Person Attendees: Please join us in the Fellowship Hall! Those who choose to come to the church will gather with those on Zoom via a larger screen. In-person participants will form their own breakout room for small group discussion. Virtual Attendees: Please call (909-622-1144) or email the Church Office to receive the Zoom link!
