COVID Q&A

0400-03-28 11:00 0400-03-28 12:00 America/Los_Angeles COVID Q&A

Jessica Fallon and David Fronk will once again offer updated information on COVID-19. Jessica is a genetic counselor and David is a microbiologist. They will be joined by Dr. Steve Nishibayashi, a retired pediatrician whose hobby is infectious disease. Dr. Nishibayashi is one of the medical professionals helping the Los Angeles Episcopal Diocese educated its members about COVID-19. All three are experienced at making scientific concepts understandable to patients and students. This is your opportunity to ask questions of scientists who have been reading the scientific data on the development of variants and the associated risk, the efficacy and safety of vaccines, and long-term impacts on our society, including long-haul COVID. Please submit any questions you’d like answered to Pastor Julie no later than Thursday, August 5. This event will be done in a hybrid in-person and virtual format: In-person attendees must maintain the appropriate social distance and remain masked at all times while inside the building. The event will be set up in the entryway. Virtual attendees will be able to access the event via Zoom; a link will be sent out with the August 6 bulletin. If you do not receive the weekly worship bulletin emails, email the Church Office.

Two black cartoon heads face each other against a teal background. The head on the left is smiling and has a black question mark inside its white brain, with additional question marks rising above. The head on the right is also smiling, and has an illuminated yellow lightbulb in its gray brain. Additional yellow lightbulbs rise above its head. Image via Pixabay.
