Disciples By Design Small Group

2021-09-12 11:15 2021-09-12 12:15 America/Los_Angeles Disciples By Design Small Group

The Disciples formally became a denomination in 1968. The guiding document that marks this genesis is The Design. For five weeks, beginning Sunday, September 12, worship and study will focus on The Design and how it still shapes our identity and call as Disciples. Two study options will be offered: One after worship on Sunday (11:15a; hopefully hybrid format) and another on Wednesday evenings, beginning Wednesday, September 15 (7p; Zoom). Each week, a short video will introduce the topic, based on The Preamble. This is more than a history lesson; it is an invitation to you to be part of the conversation and creating of covenant life in the here and now of our present and future life together as church. Be part of this community and faith formation by participating in worship–online or in-person–and attending one of the study groups. Both groups will cover the same content each week; it is not necessary to attend both. To RSVP, contact the Church Office!   Missed a group? All of the “A Covenant Conversation for Disciples” videos can be found here!
