2020-08-26 19:00 2020-08-26 20:00 America/Los_Angeles Little Things Make a Difference – Conversations about Racism/Anti-Racism

The Program Cabinet invites you to continue our congregation’s healing work and engage in conversations in August/September about racism. The sessions will be held Wednesday evening 7-8 pm, August 26 and September 2. The first will feature a short video in which NFL player Emmanuel Acho talks about being a black man in the United States. The second short video features students at a University in Texas learning and discussing the little things that hurt and help when it comes to healing racism. Each session includes viewing the video together in segments and then taking time to talk about what we’ve heard. To RSVP, please email the Church Office at fcc@fccpomona.org. You will be sent a Zoom invite and can join with a computer or phone.
