Public Life as Spiritual Practice: What Is Ours to Do Regarding the Housing Crisis
From 7:00 pm to 8:00 pmMarc Roark teaches law at Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is an expert in property, urban law, affordable housing law and police, homelessness research, and commercial law. Marc and his family were also members of FCC Pomona. The gathering is intended to engage us in conversation and learning about the current housing crisis, and empower us to consider what is ours to do with others in our region who share our values for the common good. We are fortunate that Marc is making himself available while in Southern California for other speaking engagements. Please RSVP by emailing or calling the Church Office (fcc@fccpomona.org; 909-622-1144). This event will be in-person in the Fellowship Hall. If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear either an N95, KN95, KF94, or surgical mask while inside the building.
