Service of Healing The laying on of hands and anointing of the sick are spiritual practices going back to the time of Jesus and before.  Christian communities continued these practice to the present day.  The service is not a replacement of necessary medical intervention and advice, but a way to seek wholeness, comfort and a deepened awareness of God’s presence among community.  This 30 minute Service will be led by Victor Luna and includes prayer, scripture reading, the optional brief naming of what hoped for and for those who whish, laying of hands and/or anointing with oil.
